The game cache downloads automatically on first launch — nothing else to install.

What you need

The client runs on Java 11. Newer versions (17/21) are not supported by this client. Check yours:

java -version → should report 11.x Get Java 11 (Adoptium) ↗

That's it. No registration, no email. The first username & password you type at the login screen becomes your account.

Installation

Download & install Temurin 11 if you don't have it.

Unzip AreosReborn-Client.zip to any folder.

Double-click run.bat. The cache downloads on first launch — give it a minute.

Enter a username & password, hit Login, and you're in.

Make sure you're online and launched via run.bat. If it persists, the server may be restarting — try again shortly.

If the client won't open, you're likely on Java 17/21. Install Java 11 and ensure it's first on your PATH.

That's Windows display scaling. run.bat already fixes it (DPI-unaware mode) — just always launch through it, not the jar directly.

First connect streams the full cache over the internet — it can take a minute. If it never moves, confirm the server IP in run.bat.
